WTF? Here we go. I knew this was going to happen. And I just got my book called 'How To Hunt Ghosts' by Joshua Warren. No, the ghost didn't go away; it's/he's/she's getting brave and making itself more known. Here's what happened.

It was last night about 9:00 PM or so. My daughter was in her room getting ready for bed, while my wife, son, and myself, were in the family room trying to kill each other with our online games. All of a sudden my daughter came running down the hall into the family room. She was hysterical to say the least. It took me about five minutes to get her to stop crying enough to tell me what was wrong. I suspected it was something real bad since she doesn't cry that often.

After asking her over and over again, she was finally able to choke out the whole sentence. "Daddy he's in my room". @&$*%. That's what I was afraid she was going to say. I asked who was in her room and she said "The ghost... And he keeps getting real close to me and won't leave." She started to cry again.

I grabbed my camera and headed to her room. What else could I do? I don't have a plasma ray gun or anything like that. Besides, I can't see it. I headed to her room and started taking pictures. I didn't feel any cold spots or anything like that. It was for the best though, because the goose bumps were traveling down my spine like yours probably did when I told you what she said. I took pictures of every part of her room, and I even got the courage to open the big door to the dark closet. After I had finished taking about three million pictures, well, probably more like 10, I went down to plug the camera in and see what was there.

Remember that silly orb that we've seen on different occassions? Once or twice in the front yard and once in the house? That's what was in one of the bedroom images. We can't blame it on the camera because, as you know, the borrowed camera showed the same orb.

That little orb seems to show a trail on the mirror. If I would have jerked the camera that much, everything else would have had those big trails too. Does that mean the orb was moving REAL fast?

After I talked to my daugher about it, she stated that the 'man' wears glasses. She said it was NOT the soldier that she had seen so many times before. This guy, according to her, didn't look over 40. She said he kept getting real close to her; almost as if he was mimicking her movements. She said she told him to go away, and he didn't listen. Can dead people hear? My wife continued talking to her about how they can't hurt you and things like that. I hope that's true.

Does it make me a bad dad because I want to keep investigating? My wife and daughter want this thing gone. My wife told me today that she has seen things when I'm not here and just hasn't mentioned it. I'm going to poke and prod until I find out what.

In the mean time, they've (wife and daughter) have decided to decorate the area, as well as their neck, with crucifixes. I'm not Catholic, but I do believe in God. It seems to me that wearing a crucifix wouldn't be enough though. Wouldn't you need to know how to use it? I can't kill a robber with a gun unless I know how to shoot it, right? Or does the ghost just see the crucifix and panic? Perhaps out of fear of God, or rather respect FOR God? I don't know.

I hope this doesn't run the ghost off. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, and I would really like to pursue it. Obviously, if there's any indication of harm, I would call the professional ghost hunters that emailed me earlier. Let's hope it doesn't come to that.

PS. I wanted to get a Ouiji Board, but I was outvoted 1 to 1 by my wife. You know how it is. Why would you NOT want to understand what's going on? If Ouigi Boards are 'of the Devil' as my mother used to say, then why do they work if these 'dead people' aren't even in Hell yet? Make sense? I think it's one of those deals where people are spooked by what they don't understand. Since you've read this far, don't you think you should create an account so we can talk about ghost hunting in the forums? Living people are easier to talk to than dead people. I especially want you to if you've seen a ghost or used a Ouiji Board.

* You don't need to remind me that my camera may be broken, it may have detected a reflection, or that there may be some other reason that these images are askew. There will always be another explanation, no matter what the question may be. I don't say these are ghosts or goblins, spirits or souls; just that the origins of the items in the images are unknown by me.
