One word can describe tonight so far; COOOOOOL. We were waiting for an invited (human) guest to arrive for dinner, so I had some time to kill whilest it was being prepared. My son has this little motorized bird that he somehow managed to strip the gears out of. I took the little mechanical bird to the utility room where I had a little more room to work. My mind was on getting the little set of glasses screwdrivers off of the bench, so I headed straight to them. After getting them, I lay the bird down and started taking the hitech plastic apart. This wasn't that cheap plastic that's so common, this was the good stuff that's made in Taiwan. Anyway, after dismembering the bird I proceeded to perform my autopsy; hoping I could determine the exact cause of death. I remember struggling to see what I was doing, but I was too involved to walk over and turn the light on.

Shortly after that, our guest had arrived. He came back and started talking to me while I worked. He was in the rear most area of the utility room, and I was facing him. As he was talking, I noticed that the kitchen light was on, as that's where my wife was working. I figured I would just borrow her light, so I turned around in just a way that the light would reflect off of the plastic and allow me to see what I was doing, but not turn completely away from my guest; I didn't want to be rude. I was still too stupid to walk 3 feet and turn my own light on!

After a short time, maybe 3 or 4 minutes, my wife had turned the light on for me. I told her thank you and went back to fiddling with the bird. Just as I was about to stuff a screwdriver down the birds neck, I noticed the look on my guests face; it was a 'spooked' look. Before I had time to grasp his look and ask him what was wrong, my wife said "For what?" Apparantly, she hadn't been the one who turned on the light. She wasn't even in the kitchen anymore, she was delivering food to the dinning room table. Yet the light, and the switch for the light, had been turned on.

We all talked about it for a few minutes, and my guest finally came back to Earth. My wife reminded us that this is 'the norm' when I'm not around. Lucky for me, my guest was a relative that knew exactly what's been going on. He's is the one trying to help me retrieve the Infrared camera, and the one that helped me take the pictures tonight. He and I have plans this weekend to pursue this further. He's just as curious as I am now; but maybe a little more spooked.

the pictures suggest to me that this spirit(s) are trying to materialize, spell something out, or direct you to where you should be investigating.

just a thought.

thanks,
