I don’t know what to think. Maybe it’s a ghost and maybe it isn’t. If not, then what is it? Here are some of the facts as I see them.

1.) The dog has refused to go out front at night, ever since the time he saw something come inside the house that scared him to death.
2.) The lights sometimes come on and off, with the light switches acting accordingly, when no visible person has done it.
3.) Doors open and close. (Did I address this yet? It happened the other evening. I’ll check into it.)
4.) Two completely different cameras reveal unknown stream of light or energy of some sort; all occurring near an old well.
5.) The light or energy does not appear on other properties.
6.) My daughter swears she sees 2 soldiers.
7.) A girl that lives two houses down swears she sees one soldier. (Maybe two. Have I addressed this?)
8.) My wife swears that she hears ‘sighs’, things falling, etc.
9.) My wife and I have both heard faint sounds of voices or radios.
10.)  Activity has decreased since the hanging of crucifixes. (NOT at my request. Quite the opposite.)

Last night, the dog did something I cannot fathom. Neither may you. He’s a small dog, a terrier breed. He’s only about 2ft long, at most, and perhaps a foot tall. When I let him out back to do his business , he did just that. He then started his huffing and puffing, and started pacing around. He then looked at something in the yard that was NOT there, and started toward it. He made a 180-degree turn, while still watching ‘it’. He then yelped, and took off running. He was running away from my direction, but not from me. He was so scared, that he broke his collar right off of his own neck and kept going. I screamed at him to stop, which he did. He was about an acres distance away, and would not return. After some time, I was able to get him to come inside by taking the LONG way around the yard. Even inside, he would not settle down. He was so upset that he could not sleep until well after 1 AM.  All I have from this are those silly little light stream images. You would have thought that the images would have been a little more elaborate, but they were not.

I haven’t a single EVP recording either. I’ve only had once chance for this since everyone’s almost always home. I can’t get my camcorder to run longer than 10 minutes with the flaky battery that’s in it. I thought I could run off of a power plug, but there’s a missing cable for that. In other words, I have to remove the battery and place it in a separate charger. The new battery for it is almost $50.00! I’ll write that down on my Wanted List of Ghost Paraphernalia; even though I haven't started writing it yet..

Instead of the attitude of Hello Ghost, I feel more like saying Take A Hike Ghost. Since I’m the only one that wants to experiment with it at home, and ‘it’ is not giving me very good results, it seems like a lost cause. Sure, the land may be haunted, but with what? Stuff may be moving around, lights off and on, etc, etc, but maybe it isn’t a ghost. Maybe it’s just concentrated energy of some sort. Maybe I’m just trying to make an excuse to give up this experiment..

Patience Written by Guest on 2004-10-30 22:00:24 Don't forget that Ghosts have been "unexplained" for ...well ever. So, my advice would be to relax and not expect too much too fast. The watched pot theory could apply here.   Your posts have been a curiosity to me since I stumbled upon them, and I hope that you can continue, and DO find an explanation. But remember that you are living and have a life. So have some patience and keep the camera near by cause you never know...   John Murphy  Galion,Ohio

patty1019 Written by Guest on 2005-01-17 02:14:54 in the mean time try to do some dowsing on your property to see what you get. dowsing is done on the principal of putting your spirit energy to use finding things. you focus on what you wish to find. my grandmother who was of strong irish heritage told us to use a new willow Y and wet the ends you hold with water if looking for water. in looking for a ghost i'd lay my hands on the ends and place my spirit upon them, you send it to those places. when the bottom of the Y held out in front of you as you walk points down of it's own you've hit what you're looking for.     i've seen ghosts, many of them over the years, and they are very real. you're not crazy but you need to understand that they can hurt you at least by drawing off your spiritual energy. they feed off your life force. when you are scared this produces you to put off spirit energy to defend yourself and they like that. i know it's hard not to react but when you recognise what it wants from you, then you can control your fear just to tick it off! lol hey it's playing games with you and your family and dosen't care who it hurts. many many spirits who are close to our dimension and do this are low light energy not the spirit energy that comes with faith that can move mountains. they are kept close to the earth by their bad deeds, their feeling of low self worth or hi self worth, some like it here. frankly i'd rather live in the light than in the dark which is where they live. when the bible says there's only one death it means there's only one death and that's of our soul. "fear not the one who can kill the body but the one who can kill the body and the spirit" meaning god can do the latter. these earth bound spirits seek to possess, drain energy, and even hurt human beings they see as vulnerable.     we were taught as kids how to handle stray dogs that presented a danger. they can smell fear and i believe they can feel the vibrations of fear we put off. we were taught to stand our ground, change our posture to one of defending yourself, think "kill" and allow your body to show this in your eyes and send it with your spirit. i've done it and dogs who were snarling sat right down and chilled out immediately. i believe ghosts also have this ability and i believe that's why we read and hear so much how dogs react to ghosts. dogs know when someone is a good person, i've seen it alot. they also know when someone isn't to be trusted.     hope this helps.  keep up the "good" work and learn to adjust in your endeavors.    thanks,  patty1019
