It’s been a busy few days, but no real paranormal encounters to report. I did, however, talk with a former resident of this house. The results were, as I expected, very interesting. Before I mention what was said, I want to report that *nothing* happened on Halloween. I didn’t figure it would, I believe that Halloween is irrelevant to the paranormal. I may be wrong, but this year didn’t prove it any other way. On with the former residents report…

The person I questioned, innocently, was a male. He and his family were not the ones that recently lived here, but the residents before that. He has no idea of our encounters, nor did I mention them. I asked him why they left, and his response was one that I half expected, but was still startled to hear. He claims that his wife “got something in her head” and that she stated, “The house was haunted.” Questioning him further, I found that he himself never witnessed anything out of sorts (perhaps he wasn’t looking), but that his wife “swears” the house is haunted by someone who lived here before this particular house was built. “I didn’t want to leave,” he stated. “But she just couldn’t live here any longer.” He stated that he wanted to tear down the house, even though it isn’t that old, and build a bigger dwelling on the land. “She was hearing and seeing things. Like lights and doors moving” he said. He also ended the conversation with “I think it’s all nonsense though.”

So there you have it. Not just my daughter, the girl that lives down the street, and my wife, but now an additional female claims to have witnessed something unexplained. Obviously noted, they are all female. And someone here on the site even suggested that it appears as if only females can ‘see’ it. It seems obvious that I’m trying to hunt something that doesn’t like males. The dog’s been neutered, so yea, I guess it only likes females :)

Below are some images from tonight. As always, I don’t know anything about them. They were taken on a camera WITH a tripod, so I guess that proves the light is moving somehow. Do you agree?
